Caribbean Mahi Mahi

Yields 4 Servings


  • Four 6-8 ounce Mahi fillets
  • Blackened Spice from Blue Ocean Market
  • 1 Cup of Rice
  • Mango Salsa from Blue Ocean Market
  • Butter
  • Cilantro Oil


  1. Wash and dry 2 cups of cilantro (stems included)
  2. Save a few leaves for
  3. Place cilantro and 1.5 cups of natural oil in blender and puree
  4. Let stand at room temp about an hour
  5. Strain and refrigerate up to 2 weeks


  1. Season Mahi with the Blackened Spice
  2. Preheat a sauté pan at medium heat
  3. Add the filets; Cook 2 1/2 minutes on each side
  4. Cook rice; Season with salt and pepper
  5. Place cooked rice on a plate and top with cooked Mahi fillet
  6. Place 2 tablespoons of Mango Salsa on top of the fillet
  7. Finish with squeezed lemon juice and cilantro oil
