Blue Ocean Market founder David Tucker, started fishing 20 years ago to supply North Carolina restaurants with the freshest local seafood possible. David saw an opportunity to build a company that could supply fish to not only restaurants but retail customers and visitors locally.
Over 20 years the Blue Ocean Market team has expanded with more than 35 team members here to provide our customers fish and seafood along with fresh prepared meals for our customers to take home and enjoy. We want to empower and educate our customers to feel more comfortable preparing different types of fish. This is an important part of our commitment to promote the seafood we catch. Our team is available to share different ways fish are caught, how the fish taste, texture, and different ways to cook them. Our goal is to encourage more people to feel comfortable cooking seafood at home.
