Blue Ocean Market founders, Jack Cox and David Tucker, teamed up over 10 years ago to supply North Carolina restaurants, residents, and visitors with the freshest local seafood possible. They knew our area needed more seafood choices and saw an opportunity for a company that could cut fish for restaurants and retail customers locally. David and Jack take great pride in catching a lot of the fresh fish we sell here locally.
Chef Anthony Garnett joined our team with a focus on using his culinary experience to help retail customers with purchasing seafood and preparing fresh meals for our customers to take home and enjoy. Allowing inexperienced customers to learn and feel more comfortable about their purchase of different types of fish is an important part of the education we do for promoting the seafood we catch. Chef Anthony is available to share different ways fish are caught, how the fish taste, texture, and different ways to cook them. Our goal is to encourage more people to feel comfortable cooking seafood.
